COVID 19

 

In order to keep everyone safe, we kindly ask you to:

 

  • Sanitise or wash your hands before entering the space we are going to hoop in

  • Keep a safe distance and avoid direct contact

  • Stay at home if you exhibit any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who is either ill or experiencing COVID 19 symptoms

 

Our equipment is cleaned regularly, hand sanitiser is provided and the spaces are well-ventilated and large enough to avoid overcrowding.

 

CONTRACT TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Upon purchasing a service, the customer is required to fill in an Assessment and Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) to ensure that they remain safe and free of injuries during their participation in the sessions.

 

The customer  also agrees to abide by the rules and regulations of the studio or venue they are in and acknowledges that these rules and regulations may change from time to time. Furthermore, all applicants release Planet Hoop, its owner and collaborators of all liability regarding 1) any injury to self or child 2) any loss or damage to personal property.

All applicants under the age of 18 years must have consent, in written form, from a parent or guardian. To register or purchase from the Planet Hoop online booking system, you must be over 18 years of age. You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.

 

PHYSICAL EXERCISE DISCLAIMER

 

Planet Hoop strongly recommends that you consult with your health care professional before beginning any exercise program.

 

You should be in good physical condition and be able to participate in any of the activities held during Planet Hoop classes, workshops or other events.

 

You should understand that while hula hooping is a fun, low-impact activity, there is a risk of bruising, straining or other injuries as with any physical activity. Planet Hoop recommends moving at your own pace and not exceeding your limits, which could cause injury or straining.

 

By participating in a Planet Hoop session, you agree to take 100% responsibility for your actions and absolve Planet Hoop of any liability. You expressly waive and release any claim that you may have at any time for injury of any kind against Planet Hoop or any person or entity involved with Planet Hoop, including without limitation its directors, principals, instructors, independent contractors, employees, agents, contractors, affiliates and representatives. 


 

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS POLICY

 

We have a no refund policy. Please read below about Medical Cancellations.

Once you have purchased your ticket, we are not able to refund any money. The act of purchase is ensuring that the purchaser is available for the class, course or event.

All classes require a 48 hour cancellation notice before the class to receive a makeup session opportunity. Missed sessions without the appropriate (48 hours) notice will be charged as if attended. 

Customers are kindly required to ensure they have all the information about the session in advance, such as time, location and other conditions specified upon booking.

If you are running late, after 15 minutes, you won’t be able to attend the class due to health and safety reasons. If you turn up after this time you will be asked to leave and the session will be charged as attended.

If you are not arriving on time to start the class, we keep the rights to give your space for a standby student and your class will be charged as if attended.

Medical Cancellations - Cancellation is permitted where a client or team is not able to participate in a single session for medical reasons. A doctor’s note confirming that the client or group was not permitted to participate is required within 7 days of missed session and upon receipt, a credit for a makeup session will be issued.

 

Changes by Planet Hoop - We reserve the right to make alterations to classes booked with us. This is very rare, but sometimes necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. If a change has to occur, we will offer an appropriate alternative. If however none of the alternatives are convenient, you will have a full refund.

If a class or course are cancelled due to COVID restrictions, you will be entitled to a full refund. You will have the opportunity to remain in credit for when the sessions are due to resume.

Payment can only be made online. We do not accept cash payments at this time.

PRIVACY POLICY

Commitment to Data Security Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. All emails and newsletters from our sites allow you to opt out of further mailings. Planet Hoop will never sell trade, rent, exchange or otherwise share your personal information with any other person, company or organization. 

Distribution of Information - We may share information with governmental agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. We may do so when: (1) permitted or required by law; or, (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions; or, (3) investigating fraud which has already taken place. The information is not provided to these companies for marketing purposes.
